Titration Lab
Set up a burette and a flask, then add titrant a drop at a time or in a stream. Every pH on the stage is solved from the charge balance and the acid dissociation constants, so weak acids, weak bases, polyprotic acids and sodium carbonate all give their real curves rather than a canned shape.
What you can do
- Ten acids and seven bases, strong and weak, with either one in the flask
- Drop by drop, quick or stream, with a burette you read and refill
- A live pH curve that marks each equivalence and half-equivalence point as you pass it
- Indicators that change colour at their real pKIn, and a verdict on whether yours suits the titration
- Practice questions on titres, pKa and indicators, with worked steps
